Rachel Murphy has expressed concern about what happened to his 5-pound dog Toto last weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.
Rachel recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Toto r biting.
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, Rachel accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.
Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."
Gate News called Wow! My Dog and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Gate News that they were looking into the allegations. When asked animal abuse hotline about Puppy, she immediately said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
